That I haven’t posted my super duper yummy muffin recipe yet. I have been busy getting rid of the clutter. It’s feels so good to be able to see the tops of the closets. I am no where near finished yet. We still have an outside storage building to clean out. I don’t think BigDaddy is liking my cleaning out mood very much though. Oh well, he will get over it.
I promise to try and get the pictures and recipe up tomorrow.

I am about ready to pull a dump truck up to the door and throw everything away. The clutter is taking over my house. Where did all this damn stuff come from? Bug has about 57,000 toys and she doesn’t even play with them. She can’t even get in her room she has so much crap in there.
As soon as BigDaddy wakes up we are going to do some major cleaning out around here. My OCD can not handle this type of clutter.

Busy is what we have been. Good thing though is that I have got alot accomplished. We put in a new front door and made a small foyer type area. Our old front door wasn’t installed properly and it let in lots of air around it. So with winter on its way we wanted to put a new one in.
I also started and finshed the last Harry Potter book in about two days. I couldn’t put it down.I guess I am ok with the way it ended. I wish that this wasn’t the last book. We have been doing lots of birthday parties. It seems like we get an invitation in the mail everyday. I’m not complaining though. Bug loves getting to play with the other kids and the weather is so nice outside.
I have also been baking alot. Something about Fall just makes me want to bake especially using pumpkin and apples. I’ll be putting a picture and recipe up later for the Apple Cinnamon muffins I made yesterday. Oh my goodness they were so yummy!

So it’s 9:00pm and what is my child doing?? She is dancing naked to Blue’s Clues.
Her new favorite hobby is taking all of her clothes and diaper off. Seriously, I must put her diaper back on 20 times a day. I am really strongly considering duct tape. It’s not bad enough that I have to put it back on 20 times a day but she also fights me the whole time. I really have no problem with her running around naked but I don’t really like cleaning up pee and poo out of my floor. That’s why I never had pets.
She is still up because she refused to take a nap today and now she is to wound up to fall asleep. She has to have a nap during the day.
Looks like it’s going to be a long night for me. I’m off to fight with her to put her diaper and pjs back on.

So, I usually try to stay away from the politics talk just because it’s easier that way. I know who I am voting far and I know my stance on certain subjects, why argue with random people? Plus I like some of my friends even though we have very different views and I would like for them to remain friends. However, I am going to share my view point on Sarah Palin.
Bottom line, I love her! She and McCain have my vote. I pretty much agree with everything she stands for. So what her daughter is knocked up. She isn’t the first teen pregnant and I’m pretty sure that she won’t be the last. Bristol Palin isn’t the one running for VP, she shouldn’t be getting harassed the way she is. I know some teen moms that are better moms than some 40 year olds. Age is just a number. I start having a problem with teen parents when they quit taking care of their children.
I hate the fact that some people say that she is only carrying her downs baby on the campaign trail with her to get sympathy votes or to play the heart strings of the conservatives. I don’t know about you but if I was running for VP you better believe that my family would be on the trail with me. The way that she is getting scrutinized right now I am sure that she needs her family there for some peace and comfort.
I’m going to end this now before I get to deep and just start ranting. I will say that I love the fact that she is a woman and that she is a mother.

It has been way to long since I have blogged. We had a very busy Labor Day weekend and then we all got sick.
Anyway, our Labor Day weekend was so much fun and very relaxing. Saturday we laid around and watched some football. My parents came and got Bug around 2 and Big Daddy and I grilled some steaks. That night we went out to a local bar and watched some more football and had a few drinks. Sunday we grilled out with the family. Monday we went to our local state park for a Labor Day festival. There were some local bands there and the normal food vendors and what not. It was so nice and definitely felt like we were welcoming fall. Here are a few pics from Monday. (Sorry the pics of Bug are only from the back. I’m still not comfortable sharing her pic on such a public space.)

It’s time for college football! I live in Alabama so it’s a bit more than football here more like a religion. And, you have to pick a team you either have to pull for Alabama or Auburn.
I absolutely love this time of year. I love to waste Saturdays on the couch watching football. I love football food, you know all the greasy bad for you stuff.
So I bet your wondering if your in Alabama and you have to chose which team do you pull for?
War eagle! We are die hard Auburn fans in this house.

It happened, I knew it would sooner or later but I would of preferred later. Bug made me cry in public, Friday night she and I went to dinner with four other friends and one of the girls baby. I hardly got to touch my food, missed out on the majority of conversation and left the place in tears. She was wholly hell that night. She would not sit in a high chair or a booster, the crayons or toys wouldn’t distract her. She wanted to run wild around the restaurant and cry and whine the whole time. At one point I got up and took her out of the place with my hand clapped over her mouth because she was screaming at the top of her lungs. Not an ordinary scream either it was one of those high pitched shrills. I have never been so embarrassed in my whole life. The table next to us actually requested to be moved and I don’t blame them I would have to.
I am not taking her back to a restaurant until she is a little older. I don’t want the hassle, wasted money or to mess up the other patrons dining experience. It will get better right?
The only laughable part about it is that one of the girls that was with us is about 6 months pregnant, I just wander what she was thinking.

Today was my 1st day back at school for the Fall semester. I swear it’s crazy how much college cost. What’s even more crazy than that is how grown adults can’t come to class prepared. Today in my math class out of 11 people 4 had their book. Why even bother coming to class if you don’t have a book. The instructor has to take twice as long because she had to write every problem on the board. One girl even showed up with no paper or anything. I heard her ask the girl in front of her for some paper and then didn’t even say thank you. How rude is that? Sadly they will learn quickly that this isn’t high school anymore and that the teachers aren’t going to baby them.
I joined the gym today. I am so super excited! I am going to use that as my me time along with getting in shape. It’s actually the YMCA that I joined so Bug will get to swim and stuff to. She is going to love it.
