What do I want?

I hate when I’m hungry but I don’t know what I want. To make it even worse BigDaddy doesn’t know what he wants either.
We may just starve tonight.

Ok, so I am totally torn. I am extremely close to my family. I have to talk to my mom at least once a day. Well last year my family started a new tradition of spending Thanksgiving tucked away in a cabin in the mountains. Everything was going according to plan for this year until BigDaddy’s company decided that no one can take vacation the months of October – December.
So now I am really torn on what to do. Do I go to the mountains with the rest of my family or do I stay home? I don’t want to go with out my husband but I also don’t want to just be sitting at home.
Ugh, if only we could hit the lottery.

Such a slacker

I have got to be the biggest slacker and the most unappreciative gift receiver. You see my birthday was back in May and I had been pitching a fit for a Wii and Wiifit. I usually get what I want so I was pretty certain that I would be getting it on my birthday. Well, my birthday gets here and I get a huge apology from BigDaddy saying “I’m sorry, but I couldn’t find one anywhere.” I was upset and went into stealth mode looking for a Wii and Wiifit. I even signed up for the tracker websites that would alert you when a store got one in stock. Finally after about 3 weeks I get word that Best Buy is getting some in stock and you have to be there when the store opens on Sunday. So Sunday morning bright and early we get up and go get in line. After about an hour in line and BigDaddy getting into an argument with a “line breaker” I finally got my Wii and WiiFit.
So I said all that to say this (I hate to admit this) I haven’t used that thing in about 2 months. Can you believe that? I pitched a little hissy fit until I got it and now I don’t even use it. It has been played maybe 15 times. I have to start using that thing. Not only to show my husband that I am thankful for his gift but because we spent about $400 on that thing. Oh yeah and I suppose because it could also help me lose some weight.

The new diet is going ok. I haven’t been eating really healthy but I have been eating less. It’s kind of pointless for me to start counting calories until Monday. My parents 25th anniversary party is Saturday and if you know my family you know that we will have a ton of food. A ton of really good food.

I just got on the scale tonight and I saw a number that I don’t think I have ever seen before. (Aside from being pregnant.) I weigh 164 pounds!! What the hell? I have never weighed 164 lbs in my whole life.
I won’t say I don’t know how this happened. I know exactly how it happened. She is about 17 months old, blond hair and blue eyes. And, this isn’t exactly baby weight this is stay at home mom weight.
You see, before I had bug I had a job a real Monday through Friday 8 to 5 job. I didn’t just sit around and eat all day. I actually had to get dressed in something besides lounge pants and a tshirt. I had to look presentable. I wasn’t taking last bites of toddler food to keep it from getting wasted. Obviously one last chicken nugget here and there adds up.
Starting tomorrow I will starting dieting. This blog will become my weight loss journal.
If anyone wants to do this with me leave me a comment. But, be warned I will check up on you. Once I get my mind set on something I don’t give up. Update: I just remembered that applies to stuff besides dieting.
Ok I am off to stuff the last of all those calorie loaded foods in before tomorrow.

So the big girl bed was a big fat no go. She slept in it until about 1 woke up and screamed for about the next hour. It was HELL!! Big Daddy and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her. She finally fell back asleep in our bed. She woke up this morning like nothing ever happened. She was our normal all smiles and giggles baby.
On another note I got a new dryer today. Yay!! It no longer takes my 5 hours to dry one load of laundry. It’s the small things that make me happy.
Oh, also today Big Daddy and I found our dream house. We have been drooling over this house for about 2 months now and we finally set up an appt. to view it. Oh my gosh it is so freaking perfect. It is also so freaking expensive. If I was done with nursing school we would have put an offer on it right then and there. I am going to hope that it doesn’t sell before I get finished with school and get a job.
Ramblings

I think I have realized why I hardly ever come here and write. Lord knows I have plenty to talk about. I hate the layout that I have and WordPress templates suck. I’m a semi girly girl and I like flowers and polka dots and they just don’t have anything to offer like that. Sure, I could pay to get upgrades and what not but frankly, I am way to cheap for that.
Anyway, enough about that I’m sure whining isn’t going to get me anywhere. We converted Bugs crib into a big girl bed today. She is as I type asleep in there right now. I can’t really say that I was sad about it because she has never really slept in it. She has pretty much always slept in the bed with us. I didn’t plan on her doing this it just sort of happened. Which brings me to the reason I converted her bed I want MY bed back. For her to be so little she takes up a lot of room. I’ve been waking up more tired than when I went to bed. Between her and Big Daddy I get about 2 inches of sleeping space a night. I’m hoping and praying that she loves her new big girl bed and starts sleeping in it all the time. If she doesn’t I have already informed Big Daddy that we will be going and buying the biggest king size bed they make. I need my sleep!
Now I am off to go crawl in my bed alone (BigDaddy is currently a Playstation zombie) and spread out. Night all!

I have to spend the day with my mother in law. Ughh! I would rather have all my teeth pulled with no pain meds than spend time with her. She is crazy!
